Mongolian men’s team to compete in 2018 Freestyle World Cup

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian men’s freestyle wrestling team will depart tomorrow to compete in the 2018 Freestyle World Cup to take place in Iowa City, USA on April 7-8.
The following athletes will compete in the Freestyle World Cup:
E.Bekhbayar(57kg), T.Tuvshintulga(61kg), B.Batmagnai(65kg), S.Ganbayar(70kg), G.Mandakhnaran(74kg), G.Iderkhuu(79kg), O.Uitumen(86kg), L.Turtogtokh(92kg), U.Batzul(97kg), N.Zolboo(125kg).
Board member of Mongolian Wrestling Federation P.Gansukh will be the team leader and P.Buyandelger will participate as a team official, B.Battulga as team coach and Ts.Sereeter as a judge.
Our men's freestyle wrestling team will participate in its 10th World Cup.Mongolian team claimed a silver medal in 1975, 1987, bronze medal in 1981 while they took the 4th, 5th and 6th places in the following years.
