Mountaineer J.Byambasuren summits Mount Everest

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Master of Mountain Sport J.Byambasuren, one of the founders of ‘Khairkhan’ mountaineering club has conquered Mount Everest around 1:47 pm today, May 16. Thus, he became the seventh Mongolian mountaineer who summited Everest.
J.Byambasuren has joined ‘The Seven Summit Challenge’ with aim to conquer the highest peaks of the seven continents and has been climbing the highest peaks of Europe, Africa, North and South America and Australia continents since 2012.

According to Himalayan Database, 4.833 different people have summited Mount Everest for a total of 8306 summits as at the end of 2017. State Honored Athletes B.Gangaamaa, B.Tseveendash, G.Usukhbayar and Masters of Mountain Sport Ts.Tsogzolmaa, S.Bat-Erdene and L.Bayarsaikhan raised Mongolian flag on the summit of the Mount Everest.
