Arkhangai aimag organizes sports competitions named after Chinese Ambassador

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ Named after the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of China to Mongolia, Arkhangai aimag’s Volleyball and Table Tennis Tournaments were organized on May 18-19.
The aims of the competitions were to help state servants of Arkhangai aimag to spend their free time effectively, increase their skills and motivate them to take up volleyball and table tennis in accordance with cooperation plan of the Embassy of the Republic of China in Mongolia, the Governor’s office of Arkhangai aimag, Mongolia and China Friendship Association in Arkhangai aimag.
Volleyball competition was organized with participation of 230 athletes.
The organizers said that the number of participants has been increasing constantly year by year as prize pool of the tournament is quite high or MNT5 million. They noted that the athletes’ skill has been improving as well.
