Export development project introduced to SMEs of Arkhangai aimag

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ In the scope of the Export Development Project, officials of the Ministry of Finance, Project Experts of the World Bank in cooperation with SMEs Association of Arkhangai aimag organized an introduction workshop ‘The Export Development Project’ on June 15. The introduction workshop gathered 20 businessmen from 10 SMEs of Arkhangai aimag.
The Export Development Project is aimed at strengthening export capacity of SMEs in the non-mining sectors and broadening opportunities for SMEs to enter export market. Financial assistance up to USD 100 thousand are granted to SMEs from the project in a way that 50 per cent of the total expenses spent on allowed activities is refunded.
The workshop was organized with the aim to get acquainted with process of formulating export development projects of SMEs, which expressed their engagement to the the project, discuss solutions for overcoming difficulties and barriers together, give information on support of financial team and cooperation, and exchange views.
