IM B.Munguntuul wins AIFC chess tournament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The AICF International Women Grandmasters Chess Tournament 2018 was held on June 12-19 in Mumbai, India. Honored athlete of Mongolia, International Master (IM) B.Munguntuul won the tournament.
A total of 12 chess players of 7 countries competed in the tournament. Champion of Mongolia 2018, athlete of the ‘Aldar’ sports club B.Munguntuul was invited to participate the competition and she collected eight points in 11 rounds and won the competition. Athletes from Kazakhstan and India followed her claiming the second and third places.
By winning this competition B.Munguntuul raised her ranking by six points.
