Zamyn-Uud logistics center to be put into operation in August

Dornogobi /MONTSAME/ On June 21, Prime Minister U.Khurelsulk got acquainted with the construction process of logistics center in Zamyn-Uud soum.
Construction of logistics center is financed by a soft loan of USD 40 million and grant of USD 5 million from the Asian Development Bank, and USD 26 million of the state budget.
China Railway 21st Bureau Group is acting as the general contractor as it won the international open bidding.

So far, the contractor has completed several construction works, for instance, water pipeline, an overpass bridge, 1.6 km long auto road, 11.5km long railway, extension of 110 kW high voltage sub-station and power transmission line. Moreover, construction works of administration office building, customs warehouse, repair service, service center for citizens and drivers, 200 parking lots and three lane road are underway.
"The logistics center will open numerous possibilities including increase of transit transport capacity, import and export capacity, trade turnover and savings of time and labor”, said Project Manager D.Enkhbaatar.
