Young athletes top the National Triathlon Championship 2018

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ National Triathlon Championship 2018 was successfully held on July 27-29 near the Ogii Lake, Arkhangai aimag.
In the championship, 220 athletes challenged their endurance in various climatic conditions (rainy, windy and sunny) in the categories of elite, teenage, mini, amateur and relay.
In the elite event, 24 athletes competed and a 16-year old G.Amarsanaa, athlete of Vista Club topped with a great success of 1:00:50.00 performance.
In women’s race, two young athletes from Khangarid Club of Orkhon aimag, won the first two places. 15-year old B.Enkhjin completed a 500 meter swimming, 15 kilometer cycling and 5 kilometer running at 1:19:34.00, followed by 14-year old E.Uyanga (1:20:53.00).
In the relay, a team from ‘Khangarid-1’ club won the first place, followed by ‘Khangarid-2’ and ‘Dream team’.
