Bike day to take place tomorrow

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Mayor’s Office, Physical Culture and Sports Authority, Mongolian Cycling Federation and Youth Bikers club will be co-organizing ‘Bike Day’ tomorrow on October 13. There are numerous events planned for amateurs and professionals alike, such as a bike parade, mountain biking race for people of all ages and the Extreme Biking Trail National Championship.
The bike parade will run from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in route: National Garden Park - Ikh Tengeriin Am - Marshall Bridge - Sky Resort. People of any ages can participate in the parade as long as they can ride a bike and do not cause any problems to the traffic of other bikers. Children under 13 can participate in the parade with their parents. Participants are allowed to use any type of bike except bikes that run on motor or battery. Its brake and other components must also be in function.
The registration for the races will take place from 10:30 am to 11 am at the Sky Resort on the same day. Children will need an inquiry of birth certificate, while adults and professional athletes will be required to have their ID card. Participants of the parade and the race also have to read the rules and regulations as well as being equipped with bicycle helmets.
