Female wrestlers grab 2 gold and 4 silver medals in Irkutsk

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian female freestyle wrestlers harvested two gold and four silver medals at a tournament named after Natalya Vorobieva, Russia’s first-ever female Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling. 

 

The two gold medals were claimed by the three-time champion of the tournament N.Anudari in 53 kg and B.Enkhtsetseg in 55 kg while the silver medals went to B.Enkhzul in 50 kg, B.Enkhtuvshin in 57 kg, Ts.Khulan in 72 kg and Tsend-Ayush in 57 kg.

 

The tournament was held in Baikal Arena in Irkutsk, Russia on December 1-2 with involvement of over 170 wrestlers from Mongolia; China; and Russia’s Irkutsk, Saint Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Buryatia, Tuva, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo.
