Issues on co-training athletes discussed

Ts. Sharavjamts, chief of the Physical Culture and Sports Authority, met with
Serik Sapiyev, chairman of Committee on Sports and Physical Education of the
Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan on March 4 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
At the
meeting, they exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in physical
culture and sports.
Mr.
Sharavjamts expressed interest to develop cooperation between two organizations
while underlining a wide opportunity of cooperation. Mentioning achievements of
Kazakhstan’s athletes in winter sports, he requested support to conduct joint training of athletes of the two countries and invited Mr. Sapiyev to
visit Mongolia at his convenience.
For his
part, Mr. Sapiyev expressed interest to conduct joint training with Mongolian
athletes especially in judo, boxing and shooting, and for trainers.
Concluding the
meeting, the sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between two organizations.
