186 runners compete in sky running

Aimed to develop mountain sports, especially sky running also known as mountain
running, an event ‘Mountain Marathon-2019’ named after late mountaineer N.Surenjav
was organized last weekend in Tuv aimag.
A total of 186 participants from over 10 sport clubs ran for 8.4 km snowy, slippery and heavy road between Manzushir Monastery and Tsetsee Gun, the highest peak of Bogdkhan Mountain. A winner came to the finish in 35 minutes.
Mongolian Sky Running Association, founded by mountaineer N.Surenjav, started organizing this race from last year.
