70 teams to compete in North Asia Rally

/MONSTAME/ On May 13, the automobile and motorcycle sports federations of Mongolia
and Inner Mongolia, China held a press briefing about organizing the international
automobile race ‘North Asia Rally’ from June 26 to July 4, on the occasion of the
70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia
and China.

General of the Mongolian Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation D.Ochirsukh
informed the race has been held since 2006 and this year’s event will bring
together 20 Mongolian teams, 10 Russian teams and 40 Chinese teams.
According to the Inner Mongolian side, the tournament will begin with a short-distance race in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, China and on July 1, the competitors will take part in a special stage rally between Zamyn-Uud and Sainshand. The race will run in five stages on 4,000 km road and will finish on Baikal lake shore in Ulan-Ude, Russia.
