Judoka M.Urantsetseg wins bronze at world championships

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s
judoka M.Urantsetseg, gold and silver medalist of the world championship,
grabbed a bronze medal in the 48kg event at 2019 World Judo Championships
taking place in Tokyo, Japan. It made her Mongolia’s first female judoka to
have complete medals of the world championships.
In the wrestling for
quarter-final, M.Urantsetseg defeated Olympic bronze medalist G.Otgontsetseg
from Kazakhstan. But she was defeated by Daria Bilodid from Ukraine in the semi-final,
thus she wrestled for a bronze medal, winning her opponent --
Melanie Clement from France by ippon.
