Over 50 horseback archers from 17 countries to compete

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Spirit Mongolia Open Horseback Archery Tournament is to take place at Chinggisiin Khuree Tour Camp, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on September 7-8.
Secretary General of the Mongolian Horseback Archery Association Sh.Tsogtkhuu said that over 40 horseback archers from 17 countries have come to participate in the tournament. "Horseback archery has inseparable connection with Mongolian tradition. Besides of preserving, protecting and passing down equestrian and archery traditions to the young generation, the tournament is special as gathering international horseback archers. Moreover, this is an event where we can promote Mongolian horse to the world. Hungarian renowned horseback archer and leading member of International Horseback Archery Alliance Christoph has come to partake in the tournament. Furthermore, best horseback archers from countries such as Canada, South Africa and Malaysia gathered to compete."
“I am doing horseback archery since 2015 and won the Grand Prix of world championships for four consecutive years. This year, I was awarded with the Grand Prix of the Championship for the fifth year. It’s pleasant that Mongolians are leading horseback archery in the world”, horseback archer and trainer of ‘Khan Mongol’ Horse Riders Association E.Erdene said.
