Mongolian-Russian coal transport terminal construction project launched教育与科学
On September 5, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga held a brief meeting with Alexander Isurin, President and Chairman of the Executive Board of FESCO, one of the leading public transportation and logistics companies in Russia, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in in Vladivostok, Russia.
The latter expressed his gratitude to the Mongolia President for his continuous support for the joint transport terminal-building project with the Mongolian Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi company and informed that the technical and economic feasibility study of the project is finalized. The study reflected to implement the first phase of the project until 2020 to build the terminal with an annual capacity to transport 6 million tons of coal, which later by 2024 to be increased to 10 million tons of coal.
When performing the study, FESCO company worked closely with the Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi company and the first draft of the project study was handed over to the President Kh.Battulga, launching the project henceforth.
