Mongolian boy resets world records

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian memory athlete B.Jambalbayarnyam reset the world records as he memorized 333 cards within five minutes in the kids’ ‘Images’ contest during the IAM World Championship 2019, held in Zhuhai, China from November 29 to December 1.
In the IAM World Championship which has brought together a total of 167 athletes of 12 countries, 14 Mongolian memory athletes aged 10-20 and two trainers competed and won 53 medals in total; 16 gold, 18 silver and 19 bronze medals. Mongolian team won the first place with its 21308 points.
To date, Mongolian
memory athletes have successfully participated in the 56th
international competitions held in over 20 countries, such as the U.S., UK,
Germany, Turkey, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Austria, Indonesia, Japan,
S.Korea, Sweden and India, grabbing a total of 1057 medals and resetting the
world records.
