PM holds phone conversation with Chinese Premier of State Council

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia L.
Oyun-Erdene held a telephone conversation yesterday, April 7, with Premier of
the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang.
At the outset of the meeting, Premier of the State Council
Li Keqiang congratulated Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene on assuming office and
wished success in his future endeavors.
The Premiers discussed the possibilities of deepening the
Mongolia-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and intensifying cooperation
in the face of the pandemic. The two sides stressed that the sustainable
development of good neighborly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation is
an important part of the foreign policy of the two countries, while expressing
satisfaction with the active development of cooperation in all fields in recent
years. It was agreed that high-level reciprocal visits are important to be held
at an appropriate time.
Moreover, they concurred to work together to curb and
prevent the spread of the pandemic, as well as to keep trade and the economy as
normal as possible. In particular, the sides agreed to work together to
normalize the operation of border crossings, which are important part for bilateral
cooperation, and to supply vaccines that are being negotiated to be purchased
from China in the near future.
