Ambassador to Russia discusses bilateral relations with Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 9, Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Davaa spoke on
phone with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia I.V.Morgulov to discuss
current issues and bilateral relations.
Ambassador D.Davaa expressed pleasure with the successful
implementation of the joint program for the celebration of the 100th
anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Russia.
Commending the activities being carried out within the
celebration of the anniversary, Deputy Minister I.V.Morgulov said Russia is in
favor of the request by the President, Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime
Minister of Mongolia for the supply of Sputnik vaccine from Russia. The Deputy
Minister underscored that the Russian side is working to supply the first batch
within April under the vaccine supply agreement signed between the Ministry of
Health of Mongolia and the Russian Direct Investment Fund on April 1.
The two sides agreed to work together to organize a virtual
meeting between Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene and Prime Minister of
Russia M.V.Mishustin in the near future.
