Political Consultative Meeting of MFAs of Mongolia and Estonia

June 14, 2023/MONTSAME/. The 3rd Political Consultative Meeting
between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of
Estonia was held on June 13, 2023, in Ulaanbaatar.
The meeting was co-chaired by
G. Battungalag, Director General of the Department for Europe of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Mati Murd, Director of Asia and the Pacific
Region, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia.
At the Meeting, detailed opinions were exchanged on the issues of e-governance, information technology, economy, culture, and tourism to expand and strengthen relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Estonia. For instance, both parties affirmed their commitment to reciprocating high-level visits and enhancing the frequency of political dialogues, as well as their aims to foster cooperation in mutually beneficial areas, such as the economy, culture, and transportation. Additionally, both Mongolia and Estonia will support business ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, the parties
discussed pressing issues in international relations and agreed to bolster
bilateral cooperation and work together within the framework of the United
Nations and other international organizations.
