President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrives in Mongolia for a State Visit

Ulaanbaatar, June 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Mongolia today for a State Visit.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and the official delegation were greeted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Batbaatar Daadankhuu, non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia Arziyev Farhod and other officials at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport.
During the first State Visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia, the two sides will sign intergovernmental and inter-agency documents to strengthen the legal foundation of bilateral relations and expand cooperation in the fields of mining, environment, education, science, culture, health, and plant quarantine.
As part of the State Visit, a Mongolia–Uzbekistan Business Forum, a “Made in Uzbekistan” trade fair, a tourism forum, cultural performances by Uzbek artists, a photo exhibition, and an Uzbek Cuisine Day are being organized.
Mongolia and the Republic of Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations on January 25, 1992. The Embassy of Mongolia in Tashkent officially commenced operations on April 8, 2024. Uzbekistan is currently accredited to Mongolia through its Embassy in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Batbaatar Daadankhuu, presented his letter of credence on September 20, 2024, while non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia Farkhod Arziyev presented his credentials on November 16, 2023.
