Maral-Erdene Claims Fourth Victory at the Tour of Mongolia 2025

Ulaanbaatar, August 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Under the auspices of the Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, the 26th annual “Tour of Mongolia 2025” multi-day cycling race was organized in the western region, where Maral-Erdene Batmunkh claimed victory.
Riding for the CATCO Racing Team, International Master of Sport (IMS) Maral-Erdene claimed his fourth overall title, covering a total of 603 km over six days across the western aimags, setting a new milestone in Mongolian cycling at this prestigious event.
Notably, the “Tour of Mongolia” multi-day race was first held in 1965, when IMS Baatar Yanjin won the inaugural event. Over its 25 subsequent editions, IMS Jambal Shirnen, Master of Sports G. Ganbold, Honored Athlete of Mongolia Ulzii-Orshikh Jamsran, and IMS Maral-Erdene Batmunkh have each secured three titles.
