E. Odzaya Wins Bronze at World U20 Championships

/MONTSAME/. Odzaya Erdenebat won the bronze medal in the
68-kilogram weight class of the Women’s Wrestling category at the World U20 Championships,
held in Samokov, the Republic of Bulgaria.
Odzaya won against Song
Yeonwoo from the Republic of Korea with a score of 10:0, against Wenjin Qiu from
the People’s Republic of China at 11:0, and against Joseth Sasa Mavungu from the
Republic of Angola at 10:0. Odzaya, who had been winning against the Japanese
athlete Ray Hoshino at 5:4, unfortunately lost, but defeated Oleksandra Rybak from
Ukraine at 9:8, winning a world-level medal.
Eduarda Rodrigues Batista
from the Federative Republic of Brazil also won the bronze medal, while Srishti
from the Republic of India won the silver, and Ray Hoshino from Japan won the
gold medal.
