Mongolia, Peru Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

September 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, met the Minister of Foreign Affairs
of the Republic of Peru, Elmer Schialer, on the sidelines of the
General Debate session of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on
September 26, 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Peru, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru.
The Memorandum creates a consultation meeting mechanism between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries aimed at developing cooperation in mutually beneficial areas such as trade, agriculture, education, mining, and tourism.
