Mongolian Film Projects to Participate in 2026 Berlinale European Film Market

Ulaanbaatar, October 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. As part of the "Ulaanbaatar International Film Festival," projects selected through the “Mongolian Film Projects” program have been chosen to represent Mongolia at the European Film Market (EFM) of the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
Based
on the jury's evaluation, the documentary film “40
Years Carrying Salt” was awarded first place. Other notable
projects selected are “Watermelon”
(Producer: G. Tuvshinsaikhan), “Falcon”
(Producer: B. Naranbat), and “Mirage on the Shar
Khuv” (Producer: Ch. Gerlee).
The Mongolian National Film Council will provide support to the selected filmmakers to participate in the EFM, held alongside the Berlin International Film Festival.
