Disaster risk reduction project being implemented in Bayan-Ulgii aimag
Within the disaster risk reduction project being implemented by the Save the Children in Bayan-Ulgii aimag, assistance worth MNT240 thousand including 200kg animal feed and cash grants will be distributed to every household. Animal feed will be distributed to interim commissions set in soums on January 21, reported the project staff.

Ambulances with distance diagnosis and treatment delivered to five aimags
On January 14, ambulances equipped with distance diagnosis and treatment system were delivered to five aimags: Bulgan, Khuvsgul, Sukhbaatar, Uvs and Uvurkhangai, within the project on establishing national diagnosis and treatment center(MOH-8) being implemented under the soft loan agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea.

About 1460 babies born abroad
The number of birth reached 79.0 thousand in 2018, of which 1465 (1.9 percent) were born abroad. In Mongolia during of 2018, 77.1 thousand mothers delivered 77.5 thousand babies (live births), increased by 3174 mothers (4.3 percent) and 3200 live births (4.3 percent) compared to the previous year.
