The Joint UN and Government of Mongolia Steering Committee meeting to review implementation of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2017-2021 for Mongolia in 2017 was held on June 19 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Representatives of relevant ministries, agencies and UN system and specialized agencies participated at the meeting.

Coal transport route to be changed
The Cabinet resolved to change coal transport route between Gashuun Sukhait-Gants mod border checkpoints. According to new route coal transportation will be made from Tavan Tolgoi coal mine to Gashuun Sukhait border checkpoint, from Tavan Tolgoi coal mine to Tsagaan Khad customs’ control zone and from Tsagaan Khad customs’ control zone to Gashuun Sukhait border checkpoint.
