The Board of Directors of the Mongolian National Climbing Federation approved a decision to award the International Master title to mountaineer Usukhjargal Tsedendamba and Candidate Master of Sports Purevsuren Lkhagvajav, who turned a new page in the history of Mongolian mountaineering and ascended the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, for the first time from Mongolia without a guide.

Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation to Support "Billion Trees" National Movement
The “Billion Trees National Movement” NGO, aimed at supporting and intensifying the “Billion Trees" National Movement initiated by the President of Mongolia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel on December 17, 2024. The two sides agreed to improve the green spaces of cities and towns, increase forest reserves, stimulate tree planting activities, and contribute to reducing desertification and mitigating climate change.

Mongolia Begins Exporting Live Sheep to Uzbekistan
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa paid a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 23-26, 2024. During the State Visit, Mongolia and Uzbekistan agreed to cooperate in supplying wool, cashmere, leather, meat, and meat products from Mongolia to the Uzbek market and other countries in Central Asia through Uzbekistan, as well as in importing fruits, berries, and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Mongolia. In this context, Mongolia committed to exporting 100 thousand live animals.
