《Ecolip》基金”非官方组织是为保护库苏古尔湖周边的环境，提高居民的生活水平以及保留文化和风俗习惯而成立的。
该组织从1998年开始每年举办“在蒙古两个太阳之间的国际比赛”。第19届国际马拉松比赛将于今年8月2日在库苏古尔湖西岸举行。
