President Ts.Elbegdorj attends Parade for 70th anniversary of Liberation WarPolitics
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Taking part in events for the 70th anniversary of the victory on the Liberation War, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj attended a military parade for the 70th anniversary of the victory on Liberation War or end of World War II in Asia, took place on Thursday on the Tiananmen Square, Beijing.
The Mongolia’s President was invited to the event at an invitation of Mr Xi Jinping, the President of the People’s Republic of China. Military delegates of 17 countries attended the parade, and Mongolia was represented at the parade by 76 servicemen.
Apart from the Mongolian President, the anniversary events attracted Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation; Park Geun-hye, the President of the Republic of Korea; Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan, Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus; and other State Heads and high-level representatives of some some30 countries.
After the parade, the Mongolian President Elbegdorj will meet with Xi Jinping, the PRC President; and Zhang Dejiang, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
