PM Ch.Saikhanbileg received EBRD Board Directors
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 22, the Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg received the visiting directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and discussed with them ways of expanding the cooperation.
The EBRD started technical cooperation with Mongolia in 2011, and has financed 17 projects and programs of 2.6 million USD, so far. The permanent mission of the Bank has been conducting active operations since it was established in 2006.
The PM expressed a gratitude to EBRD for a support and for funding many private sector projects. He also expressed interest to involve EBRD in the funding of mega projects in infrastructure, particularly, in railway and energy, and said there are golden opportunities in business of building an infrastructure network connecting Europe and Asia.
