Citizens of Mongolia and Brazil to enjoy 90-day visa exemption

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of Mongolia to Brazil Ms Ch.Sosormaa and the Foreign Minister of the Federative Republic of Brazil Mr Mauro Vieira signed September 21 an Agreement on Cooperation in Education between the Governments of Mongolia and Brazil,  a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs,  and an Intergovernmental Note on mutual exemption from short-term visa.

Therewith, the citizens of Mongolia and Brazil are allowed to visit each other visa-free for 90 days on tourism purposes. The year-round visit should not exceed 180 days. This regulation will come into force after 30 days.

With the signing of the above documents, the two countries are now able to exchange teachers, scholars and educational researchers, as well as diplomats.
