Archers grab medals in Georgia
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Archers of the national selected team have won medals in international tournament which was held October 14-17 in Batumi of Georgia. The tournament attracted 52 male and 32 female archers from 12 countries.
On the first day of the tournament, N.Ariunbileg IMS captured a gold medal in the women’s individual contest, whereas J.Gantogs IMS won a silver medal in the men’s individual division.
On the third day, gold medals went to the Mongolian mixed team comprising J.Gantogs and D.Miroslova IMSs; to men’s team comprising J.Gantogs, G.Gan-Erdene and B.Otgonbold; and to women’s team including D.Miroslova, N.Ariunbileg and Ch.Oyuntungalag MS.
As of present, our archery team has started intensive training for the Asian Championship in order to gain rights for competing in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
