Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The “11 11” center at the cabinet received about 700 messages from people on October 16-21.

A majority of the messages were aabout the meat export to China and the import of medicine for curing the Hepatitis C virus.

As of present, 26 Russian and five Chinese factories are allowed to buy meat from Mongolia. In order to augment its meat export, Mongolia has invited a group of experts from China’s Ministry of Agriculture and the General Authority of Quality Monitoring and Quarantine to have them worked in western region of Mongolia. Later, the group has concluded that mutton, beef and goat meat can be exported to China after being processed in the region.

About the medicine the “11 11” center replied that a preparation is underway to import the “Harvoni” medicine with a cure rate of 98%, in accordance with order of the Minister of Health and Sport. This medicine was registered in the national medicine list in May this year. At the world market, the “Havoni” is sold at USD 94 thousand for one term, so a memorandum has been established to sell the medicine at USD 1,200. The medicine is expected to be imported by mid of this November, and it will be sold through 22 officially selected pharmacies, the Ministry said.
