Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science meets
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With a participation of 57.9% of the members, this parliamentary Standing committee held its regular meeting to discuss several issues.
Firstly, the committee carried out a second discussion of the draft laws on the 2016 budget, on the 2016 budgets for the Human Development Fund (HDF) and the Social Insurance Fund (SIF), and then decided to convey the conclusions of the bills to the Standing committee on budget.
In addition, the Standing committee ran a first discussion of draft amendments to the laws on annulling some clauses on the law on higher education financing and social guarantee of students, on supporting employment, on health insurance and on rule on adhering to the law on health insurance. After collecting concurred proposals, the Standing committee decided to pass them to the Standing committee on budget.
The same day, the Standing committee set up a working group responsible for drawing up a bill on hygiene. It will be chaired by A.Bakei MP.
