Shooters grab medals in Asian Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national team of Mongolia for youth and senior shooting have claimed nine medals in the 13th Asian Shooting Championship which ran November 1-12 in Kuwait.

The events attracted 1,500 shooters from 32 countries.

A State Honored Sportswoman and Olympic medalist O.Gundegmaa won a silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol. Her team, Ts.Monzul and T.Gantuul including, won a bronze medal in the women’s 25m pistol contest.

A gold medalist of the 2014 Asian Games Ch.Narantuya IMS grabbed a "silver" in the women’s 50m rifle 3-positions contest. O.Togoldor captured a bronze medal in the men’s 25m standard pistol event, while N.Shinemoron took a silver medal in the youth air pistol contest.

Other teams won two silver and three bronze medals in the women’s 50m 3 positions, men’s 25m standard pistol, women’s 50m 3 positions prone and in women’s 10m air pistol.
