Social insurance in statistics
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first ten months of this year, the revenue of Social Insurance Fund (SIF) amounted to MNT 1,174.9 billion, increasing MNT 55.3 billion or 4.9 percent, while expenditure of the SIF reached MNT 1,280.8 billion, increasing 216.1 billion or 20.3% against the previous year.
The SIF’s revenue amounted to MNT 130.4 billion in the ten months of 2015, decreasing MNT 24.6 billion or 15.9%, the expenditure reached 127.3 billion, decreasing MNT 6.2 billion or 4.6% against the previous month.
In the first 10 months of 2015, 123.4 billion Togrog was given to 192.7 thousand people for pensions and welfare benefits from the Social Welfare Fund (SWF). The number of pension and welfare benefits receivers decreased 6.1 thousand people or 3.1%, and amount of the pensions and allowances increased MNT 6.5 billion or 5.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
In October of 2015, amount of social welfare allowances and pensions reached MNT 14.2 billion, increasing MNT 3.2 billion or 29.1% against the previous month, while the social welfare benefits and concessions--to MNT 5.9 billion, going up by MNT 1.6 billion or 36.8% against the previous month.
In the same period, MNT 204.8 billion was issued from the Human Development Fund (HDF) for 1,023.4 thousand children aged below 18 as cash benefits.
