Wrestlers invited to compete in Golden Grand Prix
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Freestyle wrestlers of the national selected team have been invited to take part in the Golden Grand Prix tournament named after G.Aliyev to be held November 28-29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The forthcoming competition will be organized with participation of wrestlers from 44 countries. A contest of each weight category is expected to attract some 20 top wrestlers.
A winner of gold medal will receive a cash prize of USD 10,000, the runner-up--USD 5,000, and the bronze medalist--USD 2,000.
Mongolia will be represented at the tournament by E.Bekhbayar (men’s 57 kg), G.Mandakhnaran (65 kg), S.Tserenchimed (women’s 58 kg), S.Battsetseg (63 kg), E.Tsevegmid (69 kg) and B.Odonchimeg (75 kg). They are coached by Ts.Tsogtbayar and Z.Duvchin.
An international referee Ts.Sereeter has been included in the tournament’s judges’ panel.
