Women judokas lead IJF rankings
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The International Judo Federation (IJF) Sunday released the latest rankings of judokas just after the Tokyo Grand Slam tournament held last weekend in Japan.
According to the rankings, a State Honored Sportswoman and World champion kept her leadership in the women’s -48 kg division, while a bronze medalist of the 2015 World Championship D.Sumiya IMS led the ranking of the women’s 57 kg weight category after collecting 2,600 points. She was followed by a Romanian judoka Corina Carrioriu who has 2,244 points.
2014 Asian Games gold medalist D.Tomorkhuleg IMS came second in the men’s -66 kg division, while 2014 World champion G.Boldbaatar was ranked 3rd; and D.Amartuvshin went down to 11th place in the men’s -60 kg weight category.
An Olympic bronze medalist S.Nyam-Ochir kept his 10th in the men’s -73kg, and L.Otgonbaatar also maintained his eighth place in the men’s -90kg category.
An international master of sports Ts.Munkhzaya (woman’s 63 kg) was listed on the seventh place with 1,830 points.
