Mental athletes to compete in World Memory Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian team for mental sports headed to China to take part in the 24th World Memory Championship (WMCh). 

The events will run in Chengdu until December 28 with a participation of some 300 mental athletes in ten types of contests--spoken numbers, playing cards, historic/future dates, binary numbers, random words, abstract images, names and faces, random numbers, speed numbers and speed cards. Mongolia will be represented by 20 athletes from the Mongolian Academy of Intelligence. 

Until today, the Mongolians have taken part in 33 international tournaments including World Championships, collecting 458 medals. Some of them are holding world records.
