Draft amendment to law on vocational training to be submitted
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This decision was made at the cabinet meeting on Monday. The law on vocational training was passed in 2002 by parliament, creating a legal environment for preparing professional workers who are vital in the country’s social-economic development.
The amendment aims to bring the vocational training into international standards and to a new system based on skills, to promote effectiveness of the collaboration between employers and partners, and to create a proper legal environment for employment by empowering skills of these centers' graduates.
Since of the characteristics of the vocational training is a domination of exercise training at job places, it has been necessary to make the training environment closer to industrial areas and to continue the training at factory places.
