New version of Law on Arbitration submitted
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Justice D.Dorligjav presented the draft new wording of Law on Arbitration to the Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold on December 22, saying that this version consorts with Mongolia’s special features and the UN model regulations while reflecting other countries’ best practices and innovative rules.
Relations concerning arbitration had been regulated by the Law on Arbitrary institution of the Republic of Mongolia and, later, the Law on Foreign Trade Arbitration of Mongolia, until the Law on Arbitration which took effect in 2003. "It has detailed regulations on affiliation of arbitrary services, measures for certifying the observance of arbitrary decision, enforcement of indemnity, customary dispute resolution and online services," the Minister said.
