EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Trades of MNT 431.7 billion were made at the Agricultural Exchange in 2015 on 179 commercial days.
The size of trade for 2015 was almost the same with the year of 2014, but amount of trades was lower by 22% against 2014. It was mainly affected by a price drop of cashmere which accounts for some 90% of all trade at the exchange.
In the previous year, 6,877 tons of cashmere was traded with MNT 383.7 billion. Furthermore, 1,576 tons of wheat was traded with MNT 872 million, 10.1 thousand tons of sheep wool--with MNT 17.8 billion, and 1.4 thousand tons of processed wool--with MNT 25.9 billion.
