Mongolia and Turkey to strengthen ties in social welfare

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Population Development and Social Welfare S.Erdene received the Turkish Ambassador to Mongolia Murat Karagoz at the State House on January 8.

The Minister noted that he is required to pay a visit to the Republic of Turkey this February and proposed learning Turkey’s practices on social care, exchanging of specialists and cooperating in training and internships.

The Ambassador said the Government of Turkey is willing to welcome the Minister with respect, and mentioned that signing a Mongolia-Turkey agreement on social welfare will be of great help to some 3,000 Mongolians who are living/working in Turkey.
