Mongolia and Britain review their cooperation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The two sides have exchanged views on a present situation of the Mongolia-UK cooperation in the politics, economy, defense, education and culture at the 12th regular roundtable meeting, which ran March 11 in London.

The parties also touched upon their collaboration, as well as their actions in frames of the international community. The State Secretary of Mongolia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Gankhuyag conveyed to the British PM Mr David Cameron a greeting from the Mongolian PM, and then highlighted an initiative on Mongolia's neutrality status and a preparation for the 11th ASEM Summit, which will run in Ulaanbaatar this July.

Gankhuyag's co-chair of the meeting was Sir Simon McDonald, the Permanent Under-Secretary, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, & Head of the Diplomatic Service.

The same day, the Mongolian delegation exchanged views on the bilateral cooperation with Lord Peter Bowness, a deputy chair of the UK-Mongolia inter-parliamentary group at the British parliament, and with Mr Conrad Bird, the GREAT Campaign Director, who is working in the PM's Office and Cabinet Office Communications.
