Prime Minister working in Dornod
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg Thursday started a working tour to Dornod aimag by holding a meeting with M.Badamsuren, the province governor, P.Bat-Olzii, a head of the administration of the aimag; and leaders of divisions and agencies. The governor Badamsuren talked about his region's state of affairs.
After this, Premier attended an opening of a new branch of the State Bank of Mongolia (SBM) in Dornod, with a participation of Ts.Tuvaan, a chairman of the SBM Board. In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr Saikhanbileg alked about the history of Mongolian banking sector and underlined that the SBM is a main organization to finance the “Good herder” national program and a sub-program on boosting animal husbandry business. These programs are conducted by the government. In frames of the sub-program, herders have received 31.5 million Togrog loans with eight percent interest rate a year, plus, a mortgage loan interest has been reduced to five percent.
