Energy Minister D.Zorigt reports at “Hour of Minister” meeting
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Energy D.Zorigt delivered a report at the “Hour of Minister” weekly meeting on Thursday about works done for upgrading the legal landscape of the energy sector, great construction works, financial and economic indicators.
The Ministry of Energy and the Regulatory Committee of Energy have regulatory and policy measures in every junction system of energy. As results, the system loss at the system has become zero, said D.Zorigt.
In order to refine upon the legal landscape of energy sector, the State Great Khural has adopted amendments to the laws on energy and on renewable energy, and a new law on energy saving. Moreover, a parliamentary resolution has been passed on state policy on energy.
Thanks to implementing projects on augmenting capabilities of thermal power stations, the country has become able to fully provide domestic consumers with electricity. Moreover, works have started to construct new pipelines and renew pipeline systems in localities, the Minister said.
