Olympic qualification tournament in wrestling approaching
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of today, teams of 73 countries have confirmed that they will compete in the 1st "Last Chance" Olympic qualification tournament for wrestling which will run this April 22-24 in Ulaanbaatar.
The events are supposed to run in men and women’s freestyle and in men’s Greco-Roman. Three quotas will be given in each weight category in men and women’s divisions.
The tournament will also bring together officials from the United World Wrestling and team countries, their doctors, massagers and media.
Currently, Mongolia has nine Olympic quotas in freestyle wrestling in men’s below 57, 65, 74, 86, +125, in women’s -53, -58, -63 and 69kg weight categories.
