Suldkhuu Wins Gold at Khadartsev Brothers Wrestling Cup 2025

The Cup brought together wrestlers
from over 20 countries. The following athletes represented Mongolia: Honored
Athlete and World Championship bronze medalist Bekhbayar Erdenebat in the 61 kg
category, International Master Suldkhuu Olonbayar in the 79 kg category, and B.
Munkh-Erdene in the 57 kg category. With four consecutive victories in the 79
kg weight class, Suldkhuu earned the champion’s gold medal. Notably, he has
competed for medals at the World Championships for two consecutive years.
Meanwhile, Honored Athlete of Mongolia Bekhbayar,
who currently resides in the United States and works there as a freestyle
wrestling coach, along with national team member B. Munkh-Erdene, each secured
bronze medals.
