Compositions of Naadam sub-committees approved
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Very first meeting of the national commission for organizing the 2016 Naadam festival on Wednesday adopted compositions of nine sub-committees including on national wrestling, horse-race, archery, ankle bone shooting, cultural and art events, and furnishing.
Head of the national commission and the Deputy Premier Ts.Oyunbaatar obliged heads of the sub-committees to issue plan of works and to calculate their budgets this month and to have them approved by the cabinet.
Attendees of the meeting considered as necessity to select a director for the festival’s opening, closing ceremonies and a state ceremonial concert. A working group was set up to fulfill this work and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul was appointed its chair.
