L.Altantsetseg to fight for medal in Women’s World Boxing Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Competing in the 2016 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan, an athlete from Dornod aimag, L.Altantsetseg advanced to the semi-finals in the 48 kg bout on Monday.

In the preliminary rounds, our boxer defeated her opponents of Turkey and Ukraine. In the bronze medal match, she will fight against Marlen Esparza, an Olympic bronze medalist and World champion from USA.

Other boxers did not get through to next matches except one Mongolian who will compete at the semi-finals.
